Browse all listingsA series plate is the ordinary CSDD-issued combination — letters and digits handed out in sequence rather than chosen. These make up most of the market, and they are where people hunt for the short, repeating and easily remembered numbers.
What changes hands in a sale is the registration, not the metal: the buyer orders new plates for their own vehicle. So the plate size never constrains the number itself — the same combination can sit on a different type of plate.
Size does not constrain the number itself: a deal transfers the registration, and the buyer orders plates to suit their own vehicle.
